Lee’s subject matter has been developed through pencil drawings, etchings, and oil paintings. Her artworks depicts a focus on form and light exploring topics such as climate change and the impact of our human footprint on local ecosystems and the natural environment.

Plastica, Lee’s first solo exhibition, has been created as the recipient of the ADFAS Ku-ring-gai Emerging Artist Award.

Rosemary Lee was presented with the ADFAS Emerging Artist Award 2019, a one month residency and solo exhibition, supported by ADFAS Ku-ring-gai.

Rosemary Lee on her time at Eramboo:
“I had an amazing time at Eramboo Artist Environment. I had never had my own studio before so I was able to realise the benefits of having a room that was wholly dedicated to my art. It allowed me to focus on my art without distractions, and the luscious bush in front of my studio provided a great source of inspiration.”
