Current artist in residence, Katherine Butcher, invites local artists within the first 5 years of practice to apply for small group professional development sessions. Get together each week for five meetings between May and June this year.
About the meetings
Kate uses a generative meeting format. Meetings are focused on individual professional development, building an artistic community, and sharing knowledge and resources. As a highlight, participants will have the opportunity to have one of their artworks photographed for their portfolio in a gallery setting.
This initiative is specifically designed to support the artistic community of the Northern Beaches and to encourage contact between artists and support their professional practices.
WHEN:
Meetings are planned to take place over five Saturdays for 90 mins / 1.5 hours between May and June 2024.
