Porcelain Flowers is an exhibition by artist Michelle Perrett, the culmination of work created during her six month residency award at Eramboo, sponsored by Northern Beaches Council.

Exploring economic, ornamental and healing narratives of flowers, Michelle employs ceramic techniques to create a series of handmade and detailed porcelain sculptures.

Her focus for the residency was researching plant species within and around Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, responding to cultural relationships with the environment. This included working with scientist Dr Suzanne Shibeci, lecturer in the faculty of science, UNSW, to discuss current research into plant cycles and examine plants up close.
